Tail between its legs, Coyotes heads back to court, faces possible shut down order

It's back to federal court for Milford and Coyotes Show Club. An attorney for the Milford-based strip club announced Thursday he will reinstate a First Amendment lawsuit against the Upper Bucks township.

I, for one, am appalled. I suggest everyone read the entire article. Especially this quote from McGogney:“Coyotes has proceeded in good faith throughout this process, but the supervisors have shown they have no intent to compromise and that they never intended to give the club a viable chance to operate,” said Glenn McGogney, attorney for the adult cabaret on Route 663 near the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike." .... It seems to me that Milford is supposed to do all the compromising while Coyotes whines about "no complete nudity", "BYOB", and "why can't we have a nice little patio for our patrons so that we can just spill out into the public for all to see?" Sounds better than a drive-in movie. Good thing they have a large parking lot.

He has to keep things twisted, how else is he going to get sympathy from all of his supporters? Poor me, I've done nothing wrong and now my family is being attacked on top of it! This "ethically challenged" attorney, doesn't even know the meaning of "good faith." Sorry, Mr. McGogney....what goes around comes around. Better luck in your future business attmempts as Coyote's will surely be bankrupt by the time the federal case is heard!

He sabotaged himself by posting personal info attempting to incite more behavior by the friends of Milford TWP...it doesn't look like he was hacked as he first claimed. He said topix removed the offending post....then the next day ALL of his posts were removed.

"Many in Milford are staunchly opposed to Coyotes." so says this article.

Many are not opposed! Many are too busy praying their taxes will not go up anymore. Hoping they can pay their bills, especially the mortgage. Or just don't care.

By the amount of people who showed up to those meetings it would appear it's just a minority against it. How many of those people were outsiders?

Haywood Javote has editor rights. He can remove all his posts with just one simple click. He can also allow everyone to view his posts again with one click.

As of now, he is the only one reading his posts.

Maybe his current mood is "anitsocial" or he did'nt take his vitamins and drink his milk today

He claimed not to be able to do that(of course after posting a 4 year old story as if it were new... his credibilty is zero)...only to kill threads...and that topix removed the offending post. In one of his last posts he was surprised Topix had a moderator...and that they...not he removed his post disclosing personal info. Your anti-social thoery might have merit....those "friends of Milford TWP" seem anti social as well

If Haywood Javote leaves because of all the garbage going on....it will be a loss for Topix. He was the only one seriously working at doing a good job. Too many complainers getting off the subject and choosing to degrade the whole idea of a community forum. What a waste for all of us. I always found him to be fair and impartial...with a good sense of humor injected. He is definitely the most literate of the bunch, too.

Posting personal info is neither fair nor impartial...I think he had an anti-coyotes.....pro BK agenda. What stands out to me was he posted a 4 yr old story trying to pass it off as if it were new....then when that was pointed out he killed the thread...hiding his gaffe...while he might be literate...he isn't very bright

Heard the latest? Coyotes joined ACE (several hundred clubs nationwide) and now has more money than all of Bucks County to wage the fight.Check the annual sales of Rick's Cabaret ($63 Million), a member of ACE. By the way, Rick's bought Crazy Horse Too in Phila. and has a vested interest in this.If anyone is bankrupt after this it will be the township and the taxpayers.I'm sick and tired of hearing your personal agenda. Why don't you contribute to the township for its legal fund. Don't think insurance will cover their attorney fees.Ever heard of reservation of rights?

However, now that the township is getting sued, their insurance should now kick into play again.

I really don't think the township is scared of the legal battle... mindful of the cost... but not scared.

This little battle is not going to bankrupt the township by a long shot. It's not going to raise taxes. It's ONE business (term used loosely with these guys) vs. ONE municipality.

We're not talking BIG Tobacco vs. 29 states... good grief.
So you say

I just googled Reservation of Rights about insurance coverage. Something jumped out at me:

"Liability policies, for instance, typically do not provide coverage for damages which you cause intentionally."

Wonder if that would apply to illegal ordinances, bogus park benches ...

That's a real park bench. Very comfortable.
