Wallingford, Lichtenegger, Herbst and Reitzel Pick Up Primary Wins

Wayne Wallingford is on his way to the Missouri Senate. Wallingford defeated Ellen Brandom by a pretty large margin, picking up 64%. His victory was based largely on a strong showing in Cape Girardeau County.

Purcell man injured in motorcycle crash in Jasper County

A 64-year-old man from Purcell suffered serious injuries today when he failed to negotiate a curve on his 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle, went down the left side of the road, struck a barbed-wire fence and then went down an embankment, according to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol.
