Man admits sexual assault on child

A 37-year-old Pulaski man pleaded guilty Monday to the aggravated sexual battery of a child under the age of 13. Steven Ray Sheppard entered his guilty plea as part of an agreement the victim and her mother approved, according to Commonwealth's Attorney Mike Fleenor.

To facilitate those wishing to vote absentee in the June 11 Democratic party primary, the Pulaski County Registrar's office will be open Saturday, June 8.
