Koch Brothers' Americans for Prosperity opens branch in Mount Pleasant
Americans for Prosperity, a national nonprofit that advocates on political issues but does not endorse candidates, already has opened offices in Columbia and Greenville and Monday night, opened its third field office in Mount Pleasant.
Some county offices, services closed for July 4
In observance of our nation's Independence Day, certain Newberry County offices and services will be operating on different schedules next Friday, July 4. Newberry city and county governmental offices will be closed next Friday according to Assistant City Manager Matt DeWitt and Karen Lindler with the Newberry County Treasurer's office.
