Alejandra "Ally" Dunn, 27, is charged in 7th District Court with distribution of a controlled substance, a first-degree felony, and manslaughter, a second-degree felony. Carbon County prosecutors allege that Dunn illegally provided Anthony Joseph Compton with the prescription painkillers that caused him to overdose and die on Aug. 3, 2013.
Dominic Mathew Martinez pleaded guilty Monday in U.S. District Court to brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence. Martinez, 28, used a handgun to commit the Nov. 26, 2013, armed robbery of the Smith's store in Price, according to charging documents.
At the Price City Council meeting held on Wednesday, Aug. 27, Price City Community Director Nick Tatton announced that the proceeds from the event would go towards many groups in the community.
