PIERRE, S.D. Major Randy Hartley is retiring after 25 years with the South Dakota Highway Patrol, Col.

Seventeen young men and women received diplomas during graduation exercises at the Lyman gym in Presho Saturday afternoon.

Pastor Jeff Swanson will speak at Vivian and Presho. at the gym followed by a service at the cemetery and potluck dinner, drinks, plates and silverware provided, at the gym following services.

Lyman students selected to represent area Legion Units at the 2013 Boys and Girls State programs include, back row, l-r; Liam McManus and Harley Hoogendoorn from the Johnson Peterson Legion at Kennebec/Reliance, Austin Bower Larson Webster Legion Vivian.

The month of May has been designated as clean up month by several communities in Lyman County.
