Armed man in custody after 8-hour standoff in Prescott Valley

Prescott Valley - An armed man barricading himself inside a Prescott Valley home for nearly eight hours Friday morning is in custody to end the standoff. Police have not yet released the name of the suspect. Prescott Valley Police Commander Laura Molinaro gave a statement from the scene at 11:15 a.m. "At 3:28 this morning we received a 911 call from a female resident at 4435 North Romero Circle East.
