Two men serving life sentences for the home-invasion slaying of a Montgomery County woman were charged today with the 2006 slaying of a Bucks County man.

The woman accusing James VanDerbeek of raping her two months ago in her Kutztown University dorm room testified May 27 that the tone in his voice grew angrier every time she rejected his request to have sex.

McCarthy, the woman testified, reminded her he was a police officer and that he could kill her.
