Carteret Mayor calls Conrail 'irresponsible' in wake of train derailment
CARTERET - Mayor Daniel Reiman issued a statement criticizing CONRAIL as "irresponsible" and renewed his call for the State to reject a plan to expand the tracks currently situated within yards of a residential neighborhood in the Borough following this morning's derailment of a tanker train carrying noxious, flammable chemicals.
