During the week of October 5, multiple individuals committed acts of vandalism, theft, and arson at Pacific High School in Port Orford.

Sheriff's officers have arrested three young people for the crime spree at Pacific High School north of Port Orford earlier this month when a fire was started at the school and numerous crimes committed including burglary, arson, criminal mischief and theft of school property.

With so many Curry County indigents requiring health care with no conceivable way to pay for services, the Department of Public Health has found itself requiring a $30,000 'loan' from the general fund.
