High-level sex offender arrested in Port Orange

Florida dumping ground for Sex offenders:
I was livid when I read about Level 3 sex offender Christian Maybee arriving in Port Orange. I was more livid over Capt. Surmaczawicz response to it. If he doesnt register we will rearrest him? Whats that a joke? Florida is #2 in the Nation in the amount of offenders populace. Someone explain to me how offenders who commit their crimes in other states have the ability to move to Florida on a whim, why because our beaches are better? The police Captain needs to get on the phone call New York and tell them to get on a plane and come get their \\\"level Three\\\" runaway. Between the foriegn Nationals, the illegals that the state doesnt have the will to deport and police Captain\\\'s as Port Orange\\\'s, Florida might as well stand here with open arms and welcome every bad guy who has the slighest inclination to troll for our kids..this is a slap to every parent in Florida, and the appearance of just flat not wanting to do the paperwork to ship this guy back is blaring. If the Mayor of New York city can ship his homeless to Florida, then the Mayor of Port Orange should have the backbone to call New Jersey and come get their level 3 offender. This makes no sense to me and for the Mayor of Port Orange to remain passive and hope it all goes away should be the demise of that Mayor and that city council. If this story doesnt get the Parents of Port Orange mobilized, I am not quite sure what will..
