Invalid driver's license results in drug arrest
A Port Charlotte man who was found to be driving with an invalid driver's license was arrested Tuesday for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The father of a 2-year-old boy who shot and killed himself with an unsecured firearm in November will not go to jail, authorities said Tuesday.
ID sought in credit card fraud
