La Veranda/Pompano Beach

Began going to this restaurant in 1976 when it opened. It has remained one of my favorite places to eat; now that we live in South Florida, we will be able to visit more often.

My friend told me about La Veranda many years ago, and now I luckily live right down the road! My girlfriend and I had our first date there, and now we visit regularly and is a special place for us. The staff is friendly, service/atmosphere great, and the food is excellent (Veal Parmigiana my fav). Great for a first date, second date, or if you are just in the mood for a great Italian meal (read: always)!

this is a marvelous restaurant...for over 20 years i and my wife have dined there,i now live in New York but i miss Franco and Pietro <owners of this wonderfull place:)..what can i say..other than dont hesitate and go there...sincerely Aurelio Lee Santos ..New Rochelle,N.Y.

I'm a second-generation customer. My parents were coming here in the early days and I've continued the tradition. Turns out my husband's father and his wife have been long-time customers as well. My husband and I had our "reception" here when we came home from our wedding cruise - seemed the best place to have dinner with friends and family to celebrate our marriage. Over the years, we have enjoyed happy times, sad times, and just "getting out of the house" for dinner. Always, Piero & Franco are the Hosts with the Most, the waitstaff gentle, attentive and knowledgeable (they always seem to know what we've got a taste-on for) and the food - ah, comfort food - and delicious, too!
