The Anson County Board of Elections discussed upcoming board meetings and 2013 municipal election dates at its regular meeting on May 7. Board of Elections director Steve Adams presented the upcoming municipal election dates to both the board and meeting attendees.

Interim superintendent Michael Freeman provided a school district update at the Board of Education and the Board of Commissioners held a joint meeting at Grace Senior Center on April 23.
