Site plans for two new businesses were brought before the Pleasant View Planning Commission at its monthly meeting on Nov. 26. Dr. Rick Vu of 5-Star Dental Care requested approval of a site plan to build a new office on a 1.4-acre parcel located just south of the intersection of Main Street and Highway 49 next to the old car wash.

Fire destroys Pleasant View home, 1 killed
One person is dead after a Pleasant View home caught fire early Sunday morning. The fire was reported just after midnight at a home in the 2500 block of Jack Teasley Road, near the Robertson-Cheatham County line.
