Smoke fills Pleasant Hall - 5/29,

The oil used to power the motor of the elevator in Pleasant Hall overheated Friday night, causing oil to leak into the basement and smoke to fill the building, according to Clay Cooper, Baton Rouge Fire Department Incident Safety Officer and fireman on the scene.
