Cops Arrest Principal, 60, For Having Child Porn
A 60-year-old school principal was arrested Thursday on suspicion of owning child pornography on his home computer, according to authorities.
Randolph Barnett Cornfield, of Playa del Rey, was arrested just before noon with "several images of child pornography" found on his personal computer, according to Capt. Fabian Lizarraga, commanding officer for LAPD's Juvenile Division.
Detectives plan to search Cornfield's school computer, Lizarraga said. "At this point, we have no information to indicate that any of his students -- current or past -- have been involved," said LAPD Detective Moses Castillo.
