Montpelier Teen Killed in Fatal Crash

A fatal car accident this morning in Washington County. State Police say the single-car crash happened shortly after 2 a.m. on Route2/High Street in Plainfield, when a car carrying five people left the road and hit a tree head-on. The driver of the car, 17-year-old Caidin McKeever, of Montpelier, was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
