Volunteers restore veterans' final resting place in South Plainfield

For Dennis Scalera, it is a practice that is as near to his heart as any. Scalera regularly would visit the grave sites of his father and uncle, paying respects and making sure they were well-maintained. Then, during one stop during the last year at the Holy Redeemer cemetery, Scalera noticed something was wrong.
