If the unions would agree - no raises for next year. This would save money and maybe jobs. Most industries haven't or aren't giving raises. People are getting pay cuts. We have seen a raise in our household for 2 yrs and there will be none next yr. Let the teachers know this economy - can't keep giving them the raises.
