Fire ravages Plainfield house Monday
By Pat Racette A Monday morning fire ravaged a home located in rural Plainfield, just west of Avenue of the Saints off of Iowa Highway 218.

"I thought it was just going to get run over," she said. "I had to pick it up and save it and find the person it belonged to." "It seems like it's a little gift from probably a small child to their mommy and it'd be nice to find the mommy it belongs to," said Downing.
