Harassment. According to Warren-based state police, Nicholas Bennett, 23, of Pittsfield was charged with harassment at 2:10 a.m. Sunday after a verbal argument with a 21-year-old man which turned physical in the 400 block of Pulfer Hill Rd.

Harassment. According to Warren-based state police, between 4 and 9:30 p.m. on May 15 a man sent numerous harassing text messages to a 26-year-old woman on Allegheny Springs Rd., Pittsfield.

William Louis "Bill" Buvoltz, 62, of Route 6, Pittsfield, Pa., and formerly of N. Warren, died on Monday, May 18, 2009 en route to Warren General Hospital following an extended illness.

Theft. According to City of Warren police, a criminal complaint was filed Monday charging Chris A. Rudolph, 32, of Pulfer Hill, Pittsfield with theft by unlawful taking after he allegedly took two women's wedding rings and one man's ring on Thursday from 908 Pennsylvania Ave.

Bo Jayden Greer, 3 monthold son of Elizabeth Michelle Ringer and Justin James Greer, of Pittsfield, died unexpectedly on Friday, May, 1, 2009.

Firefighters respond. According to the Warren Fire Department, all units were dispatched at 9:47 a.m. Tuesday to 106 Jefferson St.

According to City of Warren police, Kelly Jo Hartley, 44, of 8 Swiss St., was taken into custody at 1:27 p.m. Wednesday and charged with theft by unlawful taking, prostitution, public drunkenness, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, after she stole a cell phone from a local bar, staggered down the sidewalk on the north ...

Scam. According to Warren-based state police, Michael Hewitt, 48, of Deerfield Township, is a victim of a loan scam from the United Kingdom, as he sent a money order at 12 p.m. March 21 for $550 for a non-collateral fee and did not receive the loan that was agreed upon by the company.

Parole violation. Officers of the Warrren County Adult Probation Department arrested John Leroy Simmers, 27, Warren, on Tuesday.

Child endangerment. According to City of Warren police, a criminal complaint was filed Thursday charging Lisa A. May, 47, of 219 Jefferson St.
