Bad Checks. Warren-based state police report a suspect wrote a check to Johnson's Tire Service in Clarendon on April 15 that was returned for insufficient funds.

Theft. Kyle Kitchel, 20, Warren, and Haven Arnold, 19, Sheffield, reported to Warren-based state police that between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. on April 20 on Cobham Park Road they were the victims of a theft by deception.

The "recreation commission is encouraging households in the Youngsville, Pittsfield and Brokenstraw area to invite their neighbors to a picnic at Island Park from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 27," borough secretary Abbey Wolfe said.

Theft.. Warren-based state police charged Cody Johnson, Pittsfield, on three charges of theft by unlawful taking.

Margaret Alice O'Donnell, 92, formerly of Sugar Grove, Pa. and a resident of Murphy, NC passed peacefully in her sleep Thursday.
