PINEVILLE, Mo. -- A rural Anderson man has been charged with shooting and wounding his rival during an argument over the woman they have in common.

A kidnapping trial is underway in Pineville. 33-year-old Johnny Ray Davis, Junior of Oklahoma is accused of kidnapping two women, driving them to Oklahoma and sexually assaulting them.

PINEVILLE, Mo. -- The jury has been chosen and opening arguments in the trial of Johnny Ray Davis Jr., 33, are expected to get underway shortly in Pineville, Mo.

It began as a routine traffic stop on 540 near the Pleasant Grove exit, but police say Eric Watts led them about 28 miles north all the way to Pineville, Mo., reaching speeds of 100 miles per hour.
