alexandria crime rate has increased due to the lack of alexandria police force. the can not protect the citizens of alex. The crime rate has double in the area of rapides ave and the existing area, like levin st. the police said not enough men on the force. If you make an arrest they are back on the street with in hours and the judge of alexandria let's these people out. Our system stinks..... The mayor ask the chief of police if the needed more men on the streets just let him know..... Alexandria is goin down hill....fast... The residence of alex. that pay their utility bill are paying a very high bill due to the direct quote for the utility director"do you realize how many people in alex. don't have utilities and who are stealing them"....go figure why you are paying high utilites to make up for the stolen ones..... they don't tell you this but i was told..........
