One person injured in Gender Road crash

Roy Enyart, 61, of Columbus, was stopped at the intersection of of Canal Street and Gender Road around 8 p.m. when the 2012 Kia Soul he was driving was stuck from behind by a 2001 Ford Explorer driven by Asena Aydinoglu,17, of Pickerington, according to a sheriff's report.

Anti-drug forces merging

The county's two drug interdiction forces have merged together. The Fairfield-Hocking Major Crimes Unit and the Fairfield County Street Crime Reduction and Apprehension Program merged to create a more direct line of communication and to expand their abilities, Fairfield County Sheriff Dave Phalen said.
