I am just wondering whatever happened to the day when Santa use to arrive after Thanksgiving. Are we that money hungry that he can't wait to appear until then or are the retailers that greedy they can't wait 2 weeks.

Santa really just wanted to get a jump on the rotten traffic and find some items before all the deals are gone.

I have to agree, the sleigh must be hard to maneuver in bumper to bumper situations.

I've gotten used to them pushing Christmas so early but it bothers me a little every year to see everyone pushing Christmas before Thanksgiving is even over. Let us enjoy giving thanks before pushing having to give gifts. Doesn't really matter tho because the true spirit of the Holidays is in the home, and the weekend after t-giving is when the Christmas season starts for us.

I took my daughter last year to this Santa arrival, but decided to skip it this year. Will just take her to see one of the mall santas in December when we don't have to fight the parade crowd (just the normal one. lol)

I do have a life and it doesn't include making an a** out of myself to get pushed and shoved by the rest of you morons to see who gets knocked over first or be the first in line.

I totally agree. In my view Christmas is too commercial already, we don't need Santa this early.

Where in my post did I say I was going out to see Santa this early? Try not giving a crap about this type of thing. No one is going to care if you are upset over them bringing Santa out early. It's not going to hinder your life in the least, so why complain?

Again, who cares. Christmas is what you make it, not what everyone else is trying to make it. No real reason to get upset about it.

Carbide it seems your more upset then anyone else. Face it, the retailers start earlier and earlier every year. Soon were going to be buying our hotdogs for our 4th of July picnics, then dashing the kids off to get inline to talk to Santa. It's all about the bottom line for stores, nothing else. It might not be that people are "upset" just sick of it.

So true, Harriet, whatever happened to the day when first you had Halloween, then the turkey for Thanksgiving, and the Santa. Now all you hear is Christmas this and Christmas that. The poor turkey got throw to the back fence.

Actually, I am more upset about all the belly aching people are doing on this forum lately. Crying about the most ridiculous things. Who cares if you or anyone else is sick of this type of situation. If you were a store owner looking for sales to feed your family you wouldn't be so sick of this.

Just ignore the Santa or anything else. Next there will some kind of law banning Holiday characters before the holiday. Do you know how stupid that would be? Seriously, stop your pissing and moaning, bunch of cry babies.

Well, Carbide maybe it's you who shouldn't be so touchy when it comes to other people's opinions. And why is it that someone who doesn't like Christmas is a, "crybaby"? Maybe it's the ones who cram their crap down others' throats to have a, "wonderful holiday season" that are the crybabies. Just because not everyone just loves the holidays is NO reason to get all touchy. Oh, and people who get on these forums to piss, whine and moan, are here because that's what these things are for!!! Get it?

It's not about if you like the holiday or not, it's about people like you who just come here to bit** and moan for no reason other than that. You don't want to discuss the subject, you just want to moan about how Santa is coming early and it's such a pain. It doesn't do anything negative to you or your life. Just leave it alone. You are fully free to comment, but sometimes it's better if you don't. Do YOU get it now?

I'm sure you are going to reply with some more of your mindless register. Save it up for an intelligent comment, you are certainly going to need all you can.

Well, I GET IT that, YOU feel only YOUR comments are worth reading. We are ALL entitled to what we think about a holiday. Maybe dearest Carbide YOU should leave it alone. But, then again, we are all left to read your mindless bulls*it that you dribble across numerous forums. So Crybaby DO you understand? I can draw you a picture if that helps.

Okay, I know who you are now. You're "Forum Troll". Should have known, you carry that AOL badge like a pro.

Back to the subject at hand. I am most certainly not here to prove myself the only one to have a comment or opinion. My original comment was towards people who come to the forum to complain and whine about things rather than discuss them. Who the heck complains about seeing Santa early? Really? People with no life is who.

Sort of like you. You complained about people supporting the Phillies even though they lost. I know it's hard to swallow, but not everyone is a negative forum troll like you are. Sorry!

Anyway, bring on Santa! Heck, bring on the Easter Bunny!
