UPDATED: Illinois 49 reopened after bean truck mishap
Illinois State Police at Pesotum said soybeans that had spilled out of a truck near County Road 1250 N between Ogden and Homer about 6:50 a.m. were cleaned up and the road reopened about 9:45 a.m. Police said a 44-year-old man from Strawn was driving a grain truck south on 49 just south of County Road 1250 N, when the truck blew a tire causing him ... Alcohol a factor in Douglas County crash
Illinois State Police at Pesotum said Dane R. Chandler, 19, was ticketed for driving under the influence of alcohol and other offenses following the crash at 8:17 p.m. Wednesday on Illinois 130 about a mile north of Camargo.
Woman hurt in crash at rural intersection
One Pesotum woman was taken to Carle Hospital in Urbana following a late morning accident Tuesday about two miles east of Pesotum.
Updated: I-74 eastbound rerouted by truck rollover near Muncie
Eastbound traffic is being rerouted off Interstate 74 at the Fithian/Rankin exit, to U.S. 150, and back to the interstate at Oakwood.
