Newsflash: Municipal employees and other potential candidates for positions in Pepperell have had the opportunity to observe our selectmen in action. Lack of transparency has never been at a higher level. The insensitive, inappropriate and disgraceful treatment of not only Mrs. Walsh but publicly humiliating candidates and thier spouses (ie town administrator from Orange) and taking cheap shots at employees, citizens and other candidates has become the norm. Interested observers have witnessed the psychotic micromanaging, lack of candor and political dirty tricks routinely on display and, they seen enough. Thanks to this board Pepperell is damaged goods in the job market.

It appears that Tyngsboro's selectmen have "people skills" similiar to Pepperell's board. How sad to see the senseless loss of good, qualified and dedicated people.

The lady from New Hampshire aced the interview and clearly had the experience and qualifications to do not only the town accountant's job but the town administrator's position as well? Having this person on board would provide for all kinds of flexibilty and opportunity for savings. What's the problem? Does she have bad breath or does the board simply enjoy holding interviews?
