Chattanooga: Heavy rain has a number of area creeks running high
Since 4 p.m. Tuesday, the Chattanooga has received 2.18 inches of rain, according to the National Weather Service, forcing at least one area creek into flood stage.

As the number of traffic accidents from icy roads piles up in Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia, one traffic death has been reported in the wake of the snowstorm.
