Reservoir area gets Sunday beer sales

An amendment in the county's beer ordinance will allow Sunday sales of the beverage in the Ross Barnett Reservoir-area. Per request of the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District, the Rankin County Board of Supervisors approved a measure this morning legalizing sale of beer on Sunday, prohibited in unincorporated Rankin County.
