Put away your mud boots, haul out your dancing shoes, and come to Patten Free Library in Bath for an evening of foot-stomping bluegrass music by Portland band Tricky Britches.

Lawyers across the state will spend time in local libraries on Law Day, Wednesday, May 1, to provide resources and assistance to people in need, talk about statewide legal issues and meet with library patrons.

Patten Free Library and the Union of Maine Visual Artists have partnered to offer an outstanding lineup of art programs during National Library Week, April 16-19. Each afternoon a different artist will be featured with the screening of a DVD from the Maine Masters collection, followed by a panel discussion.
