Appeals Court upholds Okanogan PUD's powerline plan
After more than 17 years of lawsuits and appeals over plans for a new transmission line in the Methow Valley, the Okanogan County PUD has jumped one more hurdle.

The Pateros Associated Student Body will put on fundraising donkey basketball games at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 8, at the high school, 344 W. Beach St.
March 19: Three injured near Brewster
Three people were injured March 16 in a two-vehicle crash two miles south of town on U.S. Highway 97.
Methow and Chewuch rivers are now closed for steelhead and whitefish
The Methow River from the mouth to the falls above Brush Creek, and the Chewuch River from the mouth to Pasayten wilderness boundary are now closed for steelhead and whitefish fishing.
