PARKSLEY -- The Accomack County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a new rural residential zoning district recommended by the Planning Commission.

Zoning districts hearing is slated
PARKSLEY -- Accomack County officials Tuesday agreed to set a date for a public hearing on two new zoning districts proposed to direct most future residential development toward areas near existing towns and villages.
Dr. Paul L. Ewell, a professor at Virginia Wesleyan College in Norfolk, Virginia, and a native of Parksley, is requesting assistance in a research project involving the watermen of the Eastern Shore.
