They've bought everything else. No reason to believe that they won't buy themselves a house seat.

I'll vote for him -- I bet he wouldn't run off to Oklahoma because he was afraid he wasn't going to get his way.

They are great community citizens. He will serve this part of the state very well in Austin! Hats off to people like him...willing to serve!

It should be a good primary race with Harper and Cain.

Homer better not snooze, cause he could lose. IMO

Do you have to be registered republican to be able to vote for him? Are there any other republican candidates at this time?

Tell the truth, you'll vote for him because he's not a democrat. Running to Oklahoma has nothing at all to do with it.

He lost a lot of votes due to running to Oklahoma that time. Some of us did not forgot --- and did not forget at the polls either.

Homer seems to have more problems than just the running that time.

You don't register as a republican or democrat. The only time you have to pick a side is during a primary election. FYI.....

Harper is a democrat. He has consistently voted as a democrat. He and his parents have supported Mark Homer for years. Running as a Republican is a convenience for him. He is not a Republican. He has not voted as a Republican.

Since you don't know me, and know nothing about me, I'd like to know how you reached that conclusion.

Actually it had everything to do with it for me. I voted for Homer every re-election up until the election after he ran off to OK. We elected him to represent us in Austin, not OK.

It is Cain for me. He almost won last time. Afraid Harper is muddying the waters and it will put Homer back in.

Cain did not run for State Rep last time. He ran for district judge against Judge McDowell.

I stand corrected. You are right. How quickly we forget. I do remember that I liked Cain a lot and what he stood for. I am for getting rid of the one we have. I would rather see Cain in--someone whom we know.

Many people believe you have to be able to win Lamar County to beat Homer. Harper will certainly make it an interesting race. He does have good credentials.

He served his country in Iraq and has my vote. I have always voted for Homer, but he has been there long enough, let's give someone else a chance to see what they can do.

Hallelujah! He must see the writing on the wall with the Democrats!

Are you the fly on the wall during voting to know how anyone votes during the general election?

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Aries

It's one of those days when you'd be wise to mind your Ps and Qs if you want to avoid putting both feet in it or feeling like a fool. The trouble is that you're finding it hard to think before you speak, and you're rushing into situations without thinking about the possible consequences. All you can do is to apologize and try your hardest not to let it happen again.
