Mon Ami: Dining, drinks fine, but music's only on Sunday
There are two things that are a bit of a pity about Mon Ami: First, from a certain approach, especially at 45 mph on Glades Road, it's harder to spot than the hulking PF Chang's that abuts it.
The other is that the expansive outdoor patio offers live music only for Sunday brunch.
Not that anyone's zipping by Mon Ami, an increasingly popular restaurant since it opened in October 2002. The interior space is vast, a 300-seat dining area with a modest bar to the left of the entrance.
The room is busy and bustling but not crowded; the seating is well-spaced. The rooms is open and airy, with elegant etched glass and dark wood.
