A homeless man and six Watsonville gang members, age 12-19, have been arrested in connection with the April slaying of another homeless man on the Pajaro River levee.

Six alleged gang members -- including a 12-year-old boy -- charged in the brutal beating and stabbing of a Watsonville transient will appear in court for the first time Tuesday.

The Pajaro River levee was the focus of a visit by Senator Barbara Boxer on Saturday.
