Come home to the Christmas Haus
Many of today's most beloved Christmas traditions are of German descent. The evergreen Christmas tree, wood carvings and other traditional decor can be traced back to old Germany, and many residents throughout the state of Pennsylvania are from German roots as well.
Chester County Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run
According to a release from the department, West Chester Police responded to a report of a pedestrian being hit by a car at Bradford Avenue and West Nields Street at approximately 5 p.m. Dec 6. Police found Galina Demkiv, a 67-year-old woman from Oxford, PA, had been struck by a vehicle that had then left the scene, police say.
