The Bureau of Land Management is restricting grazing on allotments in Owyhee County after a federal judge's ruling in a lawsuit over sage grouse habitat.

RENO, Nev. -- A federal judge has agreed to let the U.S. Bureau of Land Management resume the roundup of dozens of wild mustangs in northern Nevada but says she remains concerned about critics' complaints the agency is treating the animals inhumanely.

A federal judge in Nevada is trying to decide whether to extend a temporary restraining order blocking the U.S. government from rounding up dozens of wild mustangs near the Idaho line in the midst of allegations of mistreatment of the animals.
