I can't post the letter, maybe someone that subscribes to the Courier News online can. But I want to say Steve White was right on. He spoke exactly what I feel and probably alot of people.

Mr. White stated that if SMC cannot make it that they would beg the county to "bail them out". He is wrong. If SMC cannot make it on its own the doors will be closed for good. I did agree that Osceola should have the hospital if they want it. But Mr. White is should also sit in on some of the meetings he is commenting on also. But get the facts straight-if SMC can't make a go of it the doors will close. The staff, physicians and community are aware of this fact. I also hope everyone else understands this.
