Osage County Celebrates With Parade
A northeast Kansas county is celebrating itself and summer this week. The Osage County Fair continued today with the Osage City Chamber of Commerce's parade through downtown.
BBQ festival canceled for 2008
Success is a primary reason why the Greater Emporia BBQ Festival for this year has been canceled.
Celebrations Planned Elsewhere
Emporia will be surrounded by fireworks displays during the holiday weekend, though it will have no formally sponsored display of its own.
