Osage Beach Parkway Partially Closed For Show

Part of Osage Beach Parkway will be closed this coming Sunday afternoon for a benefit car show. Local businesses located on the east side of the Grand Glaize Bridge will be hosting a classic car show and the local businesses will be donating 15% of their sales to Tru Fields, a Versailles resident who was born premature and suffers from cerebral palsy.

Pedestrian in accident near Osage Beach

Osage Beach police say a southwest Missouri man died when he was hit by car as he tried to cross a highway. Police say 44-year-old Timothy M. Miesner, of Gravois Mills, walked into the path of a car being driven by a 17-year-old from Roach, Missouri.

Pedestrian Accident On HWY 54

Just after 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon an accident shut down westbound lanes of Highway 54 crossing the Grand Glaize Bridge. According to Sergeant Arlyne Page of the Osage Beach Police Department, the accident involved a pedestrian and the victim in the incident was taken to an area hospital.

Major Drug Bust At The Lake

It took them 16 months to gather every bit of detail needed but the result was none the less, shocking. According to a release from the Camden County Sheriff's Office, the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group working with Camden County as well as the Osage Beach and Camdenton Police Departments and the Highway Patrol executed several warrants in a drug raid that resulted in 11 people being arrested and 12 people still being sought.

The city of Osage Beach has given the final ok to a Veterans parade that will shut down the Osage Beach Parkway, the first time in decades that the old highway has been shut down for an event.
