Couple lose home to fire July 4

DeAnna Webb and Forrest Tuxon, of the Reubens area lost all their belongings including their vehicles in a house fire on Saturday, July 4. Their pets managed to get out but everything else was lost.

Jeannie Johnson, Brad Cuddy and Joann Willey are the winners of the Orofino Rotary Log Drive held July 4. The total amount of the ticket sales was $3,200. According to Orofino Fire Chief Mike Lee the Eric Rist family lost everything but the clothes on their backs in a fire around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 24 that totally destroyed their mobile home on Cavendish Grade.
