Orlando Union Rescue Mission Holiday Meals

Full story: Altamonte Springs Blog

The holiday season is upon us and as we gather together with our families and friends in the comfort of our own homes, many people in our community won't be able to share those holiday traditions that we may seem to take for granted.

Why not start a gay CC- and guess what? I bet they'd be very tolerant and let EVERYONE worship and live their own life in peace and happiness. I'd join- and I'm not gay- but I loathe the catholic church having been raised in the vile and ignorant organization. Must be nice to have a church where's some tolerance. There's a new concept.

Yeah, why would anyone who believes in Jesus ever bother to feed the poor regardless of the circumstances.
Who said they refuse to feed the poor, regardless of the circumstances, because they choose to not do it with this group anymore.

Boy, that's very judgmental of you.

I find it funny that the gays, who condemn the church being involved with anything, is critical when they choose to not be involved with a group that is headed by a church that does not follow what the Bible says.
Funny, it is.
And a bunch of whiners.
Sorry, if what you say is so inane that it has to be rebuffed. If you are looking for a thread with people who only agree with all your hypocritical, contradictory, narrow statements and actions, you’re at the wrong thread. You not-gays are the true comedy (tragic albeit)

Remove support for the 90% you want to support because you fear supporting the 10% you hate; only logical choice most definately.

Well, I have said before and I will say it again, Michigan is a black hole of a state, that uses fear and hate to get people to buckle to what they want. Why would a "good church"deny all of gods people help? What about a christens duty to love all god creations? Its kind of like saying "If we don't get our way then we are going to take our toys and go home!" I think that even Jesus is looking down and shaking his head, and saying these people aren't playing by my rule book, you guys all know which one that is, the Bible.

I am utterly ashamed that I am from Mi.. So just tell people that I am from Chicago!

They have a right to do as they wish, no matter how others feel about it. This is still America though we have lost the right to stand up for what we believe in.

Gays don't care about rights. They demand what they want until some court is stupid enough to agree.

LOL, that's a silly thing to say.

Yes, we want the same basic civil rights that you have, and that is WHY we go through the courts to obtain those rights.

Why do you think that gay folks are any different than you? We want the same things for our families and ourselves, that you demand for your family and yourself. It's a simple concept, really.

Where do we get these ideas?

It's not hard to desipher. We are raised by folks who already have those rights, and are taught to value them, just like you were.

Actually, no, you are not satisfied to have the same civil rights as me.

I cannot marry someone of the opposite sex, if I so choose. But you say you are denied that right. It's not a right.

And really, that's not all you want.

You want everyone to accept, or deal with the consequences if they do not, your sexual preference choices.

That's not gonna happen.

And really, you accepting me wanting to change the laws the way I would like them to be isn't denying me any rights anymore than my making sure each and every state has a definition of marriage, in accordance with the DOMA federal law, as part of the states' constitutions is denying anyone any rights.

In fact, it's just delineating the boundaries of those rights, and clearing up the ambiguities in the law, so the courts don't have to interpret the intent.

Nothing like doing what's right for the nation, huh?

These are two Churches that are standing for what they believe in. Though Christians are in the world they must not be of the world; they must stand alone against a world in rebellion against God.

And yet the homosexual community rants that their social re-engineering does not affect anyone. Clearly it did in this situation.

"You can't??!! I thought that is what the laws restricts everyone to, marrying someone of the OPPOSITE sex! You have yet to answer my question about how same sex marriage negatively effects you that I aksed you on another thread.

You can't blame the gays for the churches abandoning the poor, that's plain stupidity. If the churches no longer want to act charitably they should loose their 501c3 non-profit tax status.

you are so full of shit, they are turning their backs on people in need, I know first hand what it was like to be homeless and out on the streets, because not of our choosing but because of the lack of jobs at the time, it is sad that these so called Godly people turn their backs on innocent people because of principle. Yep, how Godly....

Those churches are making their decision, homosexuals aren't making that decision, and how Godly of these churches. Like on poster said, their true colors are showing.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Aquarius

Money is a source of friction between you and friends now, so treat it with caution and respect. There could be a disagreement between you and a chum about a possession or a debt that one of you owes the other. If you're trying to organize a forthcoming social event, you could come unstuck when working out how much it's all going to cost because it might be far too expensive.
