Good idea. How about a whole heck of a lot more cops in the area too???

They should put the weekend jail crews to work cleanig out places like this.

|
So do the lot owners get billed?

The woman was able to get away, but the unidentified attacker has not been found.
How about we have the cops that find anyone clean up the city? |

They can practice shooting bushes with the 40 cal Glocks and taser the rest!! Maybe then they could actually hit something if had to and were not to Afraid!!!

Typical "Knee Jerk" reaction from the County. You can believe Code Enforcement had hundreds of complaints about unsightly, overgrown areas and Code Enforcement does what they do best, NOTHING. Now it's a hot topic and they're forced to do something, but don't expect anything soon.

Way to attack crime at its root cause. Everyone knows shrubbery leads to crime. Finding the perp is definitely a lot less important than doing more clear cutting. This is such a great idea that they should employ the same tactics in Parramore: if there's crime, cut all the trees down.

Here in Polk the weekenders do this type of stuff rather than sitting in the jail. They work Sat and Sun from 7:30-5:00 going home each night. They have to pay $15 dollars each day for the privilage of working. I guess this pays the CO's to be there and transportaion and equipment etc.. I worked with a fellow that got sentenced to jail on the weekends in Kissimmee. He would down a bunch of pills and report on Friday night, lay around and sleep till they let him out Sunday night. Now that is just waste! |

typically the city pays, and then bills the owner, if they don't pay, a lien is placed on the property. |

you can't arrest someone until they commit the crime. so how does law enforcement hunt down the perp before hand? hiding in the bushes isn't a crime, raping someone is. keep them from hiding in bushes, less opportunity to commit crime. |

If the woman had been trained and armed we would know who the perp was.
