I just love how the meetings are held in the mornings or afternoons, so the working person can't attend. I am all for the bottling plant to come to Orland. It will at least create some jobs. Of course if someone wanted to put a orchard in, nothing would be said.

Will locals get the jobs, or will the "undocumented immigrants"?

I think it's great that Orland will be getting the jobs. BUT understand that this company has been all over this part of the country looking for a small town that WON'T require an Environmental Impact Statement. Now why would that be? They are basically saying "don't worry, everything will be OK". Will it?

How is the whole "stupid thing" working for you Joe?

Do you get disability payments for being stupid or what?

Just what we need. Another million use-once plastic bottles in the environment. What a waste!

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Scorpio

Something that you've always taken for granted or believed implicitly could have a big question mark hanging over it during the next few weeks. The more entrenched your views are about this, the more difficult it will be to accept that perhaps it's time for a change of opinion or, at the very least, a revaluation of what you think. Mercury turns retro in your house of communications, so do your best to be open-minded now.
