Now, if only they can find someting that will stick and hold up in court. I hope he isn't let go on some technicality.

Mr. Thompson is up to his dirty business again. He must really hate the Mayor with a passion. It seem like Eldon thrives on everything bad that happens to our Mayor Victor Lopez. I’m sure everyone saw old Eldon Thompson on the news happy as can be, because of what happen to Mr. Lopez’s son. He got interviewed by different news stations; he was talking up a storm like if he knew Mr. Lopez and his family. I heard old Eldon was out there taking pictures across the street. And later on bragging about the whole incident. I do not understand how the people of Orange Cove voted for this man (Eldon Thompson) for our “Orange Cove Police Protection Board” this man is a prejudice hateful man. Just go back and read all of his postings. The news has blown all of this out of proportion. But you all have to know why. I really believe it’s because of his Mexican heritage. Mr. Lopez has done many great things for our community. And is here to help anyone who needs it. And if he can’t get the help from Orange Cove, he will go and look for it. He’s an honest and caring man and would give the shirt off his back to help. It’s too bad there a lot of haters in our town, and don’t realize all the good he’s done. Mr. Lopez’s son hopefully will be cleared. Who knows what’s going to happen. I would like to ask a question to all of you who read these comments. To all of you who have children over the age of 20 are you responsible for their actions. I know many people in this town who have children over the age of 20 who are into drugs and gangs and are thieves. Should your names be plastered all over the news? For what your children do. Is it your fault for what they do? No of course not, we as parents do our best to raise good children, and sometimes it doesn’t work out. Now I’m not saying Mr. Lopez’s children are bad, not at all. But everyone makes mistakes in life and they do change. This incident with Mr. Lopez’s son is all a big mistake, but time will tell.
So Mr. Thompson I will never be able to respect a man like you who spreads so much hate. If you’re going to be on this board you need to change your ways, and keep your mouth shut!

I was sitting in a cafe downtown drinking coffee when some people came in and were excitedly talking about Police and Sheriff's cars at Victor Jr's house.

It sounded interesting, I reacted and headed west, and started taking pictures upon arrival at the residence where the Sheriff, M.A.G.E.C., et. al., where I learned later, were serving search warrant(s) at the Lopez residence.

The raid started about 08:00 and I did not arrive until about 09:15. Our local newspaper had already been there and departed before my arrival.

So, "Theresa", how does that become "his [Thompson] dirty business"???

"Theresa" is sorta correct "ledesma" ... let's be PC here ... Victor Lopez JR was arrested for and was in jail for less than 24 hours, for;

[] ALLEGEDLY using/selling/distributing DRUGS,

[] ALLEGEDLY holding/selling STOLEN PROPERTY,

[] ALLEGEDLY embezzling from the City of ORANGE COVE

[] ALLEGEDLY committing IDENTITY THEFT

[] ALLEGEDLY in violation of whatever else they (Sheriff and M.A.G.E.C. and the DRUG SNIFFING K-9) found while executing the two search warrants.

Just because three people were handcuffed and questioned in the front yard of VICTOR LOPEZ JR's residence, that he "rents" from his daddy's friend PAUL RODRIGUEZ, does not automatically make him or anyone else that resides in the residence, GUILTY.

He will ONCE AGAIN have his day in COURT to defend against charges, when and if the Sheriff, District Attorney, et. al., choose to file.

That’s one of the many things GREAT about AMERICA … equal opportunity and shared responsibility.

Mr. Thompson now that you are on this OCPD Board, you now represent all Orange Cove People. I think you should be fair and honest. Here on this Topix you are the only one who posts all these pictures and all the negative comments on Mr. Lopez. It looks like you get so much pleasure out of all of this. Why do you have to be so mordant on what you write of the Lopez family? You almost sound like a child. Try to be a fair man and don’t pass judgment on the Lopez family. people make mistakes blah blah blah, mr lopez has made many mistakes and he still doesnt change his ways you cant teach an old dog new tricks.over and over hes done this he has taken from the city many things but now its all catching up to mr lopez and now hes going down for it .you see victor jr and his (((daddy))))always have an excuse on how property from the city always ends up in the possesion of victor jr. why is it at jr's home how come it couldnt be in the premises of the the city?that just makes you wonder that they both are in this together and that they both should be punished just like the bikes and everything else they have taken from the tax payers. were they just expecting for these objects to be forgotten and then keep them or were they ever gonna return them obviously not as yo can see, these things that were repossesd from jr's house are now in the hands of the sherrif. because they belong to the city not the lopezes.! theifs

I am so glad that they finally caught him. I'd like to kiss the Sheriff that arrested him. Eldon keep up the good work we know the truth.

Jr treated me so awful when I worked at the skate park. I made sure that the kids were safe and followed the rules and all Jr. did was sit on his lazy butt and thought of ways to spend the money that they ARE embezzling for the people in this town. Greedy uncaring bunch of good for nothing embezzlers.

The only reason that Victor Lopez helps people is because he has alterier motives. I know both Victors personally and they is a mobster. Greedy and money hungry. Do you know them personally?
