This is no the first time an incident of this nature has happened; when will Boeing executives will understand the risk of hiring employees of Chinese origin? Wouldn't a review of their hiring policies make sense to prevent this from happening again? Hiring non-Chinese employees would make more sense.

Don't be naive.

This SPY vs SPY game is play over and over again all over the world since WW1 whether it is in the commercial or the military. Nothing has changed.

According to the news: This guy is found guilty of ECONOMIC espionage for providing TRADE secrets about the space shuttle program.
I wonder how useful is his information to China?

FYI Space shuttle program is originally started in USA by a team of scientists headed by ex-Germany Von Braun which included China's own Tsien Hsue-Shen.

just like how many African American in America are in prison with the wrong charges, even this guy was already caught, America can just add watever bullshit charges it wants to the so called "spy". He is a Taiwanese, ur ally spy.

US even invaded Iraq because US believe that Iraq has some shit weapon of mass destruction, and the proof they use to justified that was some conversation recordings which doesn't have any clue or point to any watsoever. They just make everything up in their superficial mind. I was laughing back then when Collin powell was addressing the UN about that and all US of ASS found in Iraq was weather balloons, that is why US loves to talk cock. If US is so farking good, where is Osama Bin Laden, so far no news of him. The freedom America so heavenly chants about is a misery to every other country around the world. Hey place those chinese terrorists caught near the Al-Qaeda camp in those Palau Island, US must be one nutcase

Did you even read the story? Reading comprehension is a marvel:

"A former Boeing engineer is guilty of economic espionage for providing trade secrets about the space shuttle program to the ---->People's Republic of China"

Logic is a marvel, too.

People's Republic of China would more likely be interested in building a shuttle than little Taiwan.

The death penalty should be enacted for spies in peace time.
