Wal-Mart construction efforts, drainage initiatives, intensify

ONLEY -- Weiss Builders, the Minneapolis, Minn., company building the new Wal-Mart Supercenter here, stepped up its efforts the last two weeks to include round-the-clock work at the site on U. S. Route 13 in an effort to keep up with a schedule that should result in the store's opening next summer.

ACCOMACK: County bolsters its reserve fund
