By CASEY KNAUPP Staff Writer The city of Tyler unveiled Half Mile of History stones downtown Thursday for the program's two newest inductees Rudolph Bergfeld and John Franklin "Doc" Witt.

The community will pay tributes to Rudolph Bergfeld and John Franklin "Doc" Witt today when two Half Mile of History stones are unveiled in downtown Tyler.

Most of them were teenagers. They were drafted into the military or joined to help turn the tide of World War II.
