we are behind the times. Holistic medicine is the way to go, but, there is no MONEY in that!! Big pharm would like you to believe that medication is the cure. Medication is a derivative of the natural source, meds add toxins to the body and have many side effects. We have become such a pill popping society and take meds for just about everything!
might as well

holistic is where the money is. People won't think twice about laying out $100 for an unproven accupunture treatement, but try and get them to pay $50 for a tetanus shot...not happening. You have to spend $30 fighting with and insurance company to collect and end up losing money.

Alt med patients self pay, which is why doctors do it now.
Most of alt/med it is worthless or even harmful

It's about time. For too long, the AMA mandate has been chemicals, pharmaceutical drugs, surgery, and nuclear radiation to zap symptoms, yet not always getting rid of the illness. This is a step in the right direction. http://www.HealingNews.com

funny that this comprehensive,$2.5 billion study is published today.
No matter, alt med is about philosophy and conspiracy theories and not science and evidence; so this (one more in a string of endless studies)is
not likely to change the mind of the 2 posters above or others like them.

its easier for a ENT Dr.to prescribe dangerous steroid nasal spray
than to show a patient how to do a neti water cleanout for a sinus
problem.

"It's about treating the whole patient in the best way," said Dr. Marie Steinmetz. I believe physicians are waking up to the possibility of integrative care for their patients. True nurturing, caring, with a gentle approach that is safe and effective.

Over use of antibiotics has created resistant strains and increase in potentially life-threatening MRSA.

Finding ways to flush the sinuses, put the patient as ease, relieve the suffering without stressing the immune system actually strengthens the individual against further infections.

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Cancer

Romance is never far away today and it will fill you with joy. If you've been hoping to kiss a certain person under the mistletoe but have despaired that it would ever happen, your wish could come true now. If you fancy trying your luck in the sales you'll find some great bargains, but try not to get carried away and bring home the whole shop.
